Why is shipping free?

We want your experience with us to be as straightforward and trouble-free as possible. 

That's why every order includes free nationwide shipping, with delivery timelines of 1-5 working days for the North Island and 2-7 working days for the South Island. Metro Auckland customers will typically receive orders by the next working day if orders are submitted by 12:00 noon.   

If you need it faster, there are a variety of options available. Metro Auckland customers can choose same-day delivery by 5:00 pm (Monday - Friday) if the order is submitted by 12:00 noon, for a fee of $179. Expedited delivery is also available for other areas by courier and air freight. For all expedited delivery options, please contact us.

Do you deliver to residential addresses?

While residential delivery is available, we highly recommend having the coffin delivered directly to a funeral home.  

What size of coffin do I need?

Our standard coffins and caskets can accommodate most individuals up to 6'10" (208 cm) and 330 lbs (150 kg). We strongly recommend you confirm with your funeral director or other professional the size of coffin needed for your loved one.

We do not currently offer oversized coffins but may do so in the future.

Does the coffin include everything I need?

Yes. Our coffins and caskets come fully assembled and ready for use.

Each coffin features a full interior and contains a matching pillow and throw.

How quickly will I receive the coffin?

Will the funeral home accept my coffin?

The vast majority of funeral homes have no issue with customers supplying their own coffin. If a funeral home does object to it, it is to protect their bottom line — and we would strongly recommend you go elsewhere.

Should I immediately tell the funeral home I am supplying my own coffin?

No. We strongly recommend you obtain (in writing) an itemized quotation (a quotation is better than an estimate) from the funeral home before mentioning to them that you wish to supply your own coffin.

Should I be at the funeral home when the coffin is delivered?

Though not required, you may wish to be present. If you wish to be present, please request the estimated arrival time of your order.

Where is Noble Coffin's showroom located?

At this point in time, Noble Coffin does not have a showroom, and order fulfillment is handled at our Māngere warehouse.

While we understand that some customers may wish to view our products in person, reducing our overhead means that we can pass the savings on to you.

What happens after I place my order?

We will call you to confirm the order, email you the order summary, and start preparing it. You’ll receive another email informing you when your order has shipped. We diligently monitor all orders and work with carriers to ensure they arrive on time, in the condition you expect. 

What if the coffin arrives late or damaged (a very unlikely scenario)?

We cannot overemphasize how carefully we treat your order, and the rarity of late and damaged orders. We package every order in highly protective industry-standard materials and handle it with extra care, diligently monitor our freight, and work proactively with our carriers to ensure on-time delivery.

That said, accidents and acts of god can occur. If your order arrives damaged, please inform us and take photos if possible. Your options will be an urgent replacement or full refund. If for any reason (weather, acts of god, etc) and despite our best efforts a delay prevents the item from arriving in time for use, the item will be returned and a full refund will be issued.
