After helping arrange his grandmother's funeral, Oliver experienced first-hand how emotionally and financially challenging saying goodbye can be. While reviewing the funeral costs, he was surprised by how expensive the coffin had become. Looking for alternatives, he discovered there were few options for families wanting quality coffins—particularly American-style caskets—at transparent, accessible prices. That experience inspired him to create Noble Coffin in 2024, with the aim of giving families greater choice while offering beautifully crafted coffins and caskets delivered throughout New Zealand.
